I wanted to let you know that Joan, who ran so much of Rancho Gordo, is off pursuing new dreams and has left the world of beans. She was an integral part of the company and watched as our mail order business went from 2 to three orders a week to hundreds. Virtually every order I packed came back with some kind of mistake and virtually none of Joan's ever received anything else other than a "thank you".
And with that, I'll just say, "Thank you, Joan!"

Oh, my! I’ll miss her! Right before you posted this, I wrote to Joan with a rare problem (my first and only, every, with you!) and not only was she exceedingly gracious, she sent me a replacement order ASAP and a little gift, as well.
