Still not back, but I wanted to show you some photos from a market in Hidalgo. These ladies made some divine quesadillas, my favorite being brains and mushrooms.
I believe these are pink pine nuts. Doesn't it make you want to find a kitchen and start cooking something?
Don’t want to trouble your holiday with this query, but….having never gardened on the west coast, I’m looking for guidance. I’m interested in planting the most appropriate varieties of things that I’m familiar with like okra, pole beans, eggplant. Any websites, gardeners, books, nurseries?
