I'm just getting back into the swing of things and of course going through my photos is more important than answering emails or getting groceries after a long trip.
We were driving from here to there and stumbled upon Chunchucmil, an abonded ex-hacienda loaded with charm and ghosts. There were several large buildings on a few acres and nobody there to witness it.
The broken workings of a clock.
Towards the church.
The main building. Of course I fanticized about descending the steps to greet my guests.
We didn't say much as we explored. It was sad, weird and really wonderful.
