Further Experiments with Beans on Toast

This is more of a suggestion than a recipe. Did you make the Heirloom Flageolet Bean salad yet? Have some leftovers?

Make sure the salad is at room temperature. Toast some good bread, butter it and then top with the salad. You could do a lot worse! This is something very good to eat.

  1. My Italian grandfather would smash white beans, Italian canned tuna and olive oil together and put it on garlic bread….yum

  2. I watch British shows on PBS and they often eat beans on toast. I have tried it with pinto beans on a hearty bread and I like it.
